Who’s It For?

The TaylorMade Spider family is growing once again in 2022 with the release of the Spider GT putters. Over the last several years, TaylorMade has changed the putting game by emphasizing stability and MOI in modern mallet designs to help golfers maintain excellent putting performance, regardless of where contact is made on the face. The Spider GT series adds to that mission, featuring unique materials and weighting concepts to enhance forgiveness. The Spider GT Rollback Single Bend is designed for golfers with little to no arc in their putting strokes.

The Tech Story

Powering the Spider GT Rollback putters is the Rollback Top Design which focuses primarily on easy alignment, using multiple visual aids to help center the ball at address and create confidence. Additionally, a lightweight 232-gram cap is crafted from anodized 6061 aluminum to promote an ideal center of gravity for optimal forgiveness. Meanwhile, the tri-sole design allows golfers to sit the putter squarely on the ground without changing face angle. TaylorMade also added a new heavy tungsten stability bar (80 grams) that strategically wraps around the back and side of the putter for added stability and forgiveness. For feel, the Spider GT putters feature a PureRoll Insert for improved topspin. This PureRoll insert is made of black TPU urethane with silver aluminum beams at a 45° angle, which delivers that topspin at impact. Finally, the new Fluted Feel shaft includes a softer section five inches from the tip that is designed to enhance feel and increase stability. The Spider GT Rollback Single Bend putter is best suited for golfers with little to no arc in their putting strokes.

• Lightweight Cap & Tri-Sole – A lightweight cap is crafted from anodized 6061 aluminum and is designed to deliver a centered CG for optimal forgiveness. The tri-sole design allows golfers to sit the putter squarely on the ground without changing face angle.
• Tungsten Roll Bar – For the first time, we’ve implemented a heavy tungsten stability bar (80g) that strategically wraps around the back and side of the putter for added forgiveness and stability.
• Pure Roll² Insert – The new firmer co-molded insert, manufactured of black TPU urethane with silver aluminum beams at a 45° angle designed to improve topspin across the face.
• Fluted Feel – A newly engineered stability putter shaft with a softer section located 5” from the tip, intently designed to enhance feel, increase stability and improve dispersion.
