Columbian Senior Advisory Service (CSAS)

The Columbian Senior Advisory Service, CSAS, a service available by calling (800) 273-0068, provides free professional and unbiased assistance to knights and families seeking information on senior care options, retirement housing and supportive services.
Sooner or later someone in our Council, someone in our family, is likely to need advice. To fill that need, the Columbian Retirement Home Corporation added this state-wide consultant service program to the senior residence already provided by our Columbian Center in Marysville, California.

CSAS provides free reliable, unbiased information on housing and care in your neighborhood, or any California neighborhood of your choice. Professionally trained advisors will guide you to find non-profit, for-profit and/or faith based resources to address:

• Independent living
• Assisted living
• Home care staffing
• Nursing homes
• Dementia care
• Financing options
• Supportive services

CSAS counselors are dedicated and attentive to supporting our seniors. Their service is provided through the Columbian Retirement Home Corporation by Senior Care Solutions, the highly qualified group of trained professional geriatric consultants with over 20 years of experience and more than 10,000 senior clients.
For questions and/or assistance, call CSAS at (800) 273-0068

365 Club Donation

In 1955, the State Council created California Columbian Charities, Inc.  The charity is dedicated to assisting California Brothers in financial distress, including their widows.  For almost sixty years, we have consistently worked to provide charity, the first principle of our Order, and to fulfill Father McGivney’s mandate of BROTHER HELPING BROTHER.

We ask that every Brother in California join the 365 Club and donate a penny a day, by adding an additional $3.65 to their dues payment. This will provide every Brother in your Council an opportunity to practice charity, unity and fraternity. We hope that 100% of the active Councils in California will contribute. The council should hold these funds until May when they can be brought to the State Convention.  For more information on the 365 Club and other state council programs, please visit the KofC State Council website at www.californiaknights.org. Also, there is a link on our Council website.
