Squires/Roses of Council #3162 Receive d’Elite Award

In the 2024-2025 Columbian Year, the Mission San Luis Rey Parish Squires/Roses received the Corps d’Elite Award from the Supreme Council of the Knights of Columbus. These young people distributed over 13 tons of food, hosted the Silver Rose of Guadalupe, engaged 2,000 people in prayer, and helped the Diocese of San Diego Walk4Life. OVERVIEW This contest encourages today’s youth to be more connected to their community and their faith. The goal of this program is to involve young Catholics in grades 8 to 12 (public, private, parochial or home schools during the current school year) in civic discourse and instill in them religious and life-affirming values.
