Designed by legendary architect William P. “Billy” Bell and opened on September 22, 1948, Marine Memorial is a living tribute to the men and women of the United States Marine Corps. Every tee box on this historic 18-hole championship course is dedicated to a significant USMC battle — from Tun Tavern, the birthplace of the Marine Corps, to the Battle of Ramadi — so history unfolds with every hole you play. This course has hosted multiple All-Armed Forces Golf Championships, All-Marine Golf Championships, and was the personal home course of President Richard Nixon, who was known to arrive by presidential helicopter.
At 6,865 yards from the tips with a course rating of 73.1 and a slope of 132, Marine Memorial is a championship-caliber test that rewards every level of golfer. The front nine rolls through flat, tree-lined fairways while the back nine rises and falls through the dramatic Southern California foothills — offering stunning views and elevation changes that make every shot a memorable one. Strategic sand bunkers, mature trees, and a well-conditioned layout that was refreshed by architect Cary Bickler in 2017 make this a bucket-list round for any serious golfer.

- Valid for 4 players (Foursome) — one tee time, non-transferable beyond the stated group size
- ⚠️ BASE ACCESS REQUIRED: All players must apply for base access at Camp Pendleton in advance. Processing takes approximately one week and access is valid for 90 days. Apply at: pendleton.marines.mil/base-access

- Subject to course availability; weekend and holiday tee times are limited — book early
- Not valid on tournament days or special military events — confirm when booking
- Non-metal spikes required — no exceptions
